Professional Artist
Well, yesterday I went to Ray street at night. I thought that there was a lot of interesting art. I even spoke to an artist named Andre Rushing and he is a art that does oil paintings, and seemed to be a very interesting person. I thought that he seemed to really busy because, I had made a appointment with him. But, he was so busy that I had to interview him when he was going to buy things. So, last night he seemed like he was very busy. But, I got all the information about what he does, and what he thinks about art now a days. He thinks that artist now a days don't use what the older artist use to do. They are more into sculpturing now, but something that he said that was interesting was most pieces of art go around a political aspect. Then, I showed him some of my art pieces and he seemed to like one out of all the other ones I showed him.

Salvation Mountain
Well on Friday a bunch of my friends and me went out to Salvation Mountain. Salvation Mountain is about a man who spoke to god before. But, that was not the point of going there it was to see the piece of art work that he had made. It is made out of hay and plaster and a lot of paint. It is one really big piece of artwork that is one the mountain. It took him 24 years too build and is still working on it a little. Everything he used in the mountain was found in the desert by El Centro. It was one amazing piece of art piece. If you are interested you should go out and check it out.

Anne Frank
A few days ago I read a section from Anne Franks diary about WWII and Nazis. She talked about how she was Jewish, and how they treated anyone that was Jewish. I thought that it was really interesting why the Nazis, thought it was alright to treat Jewish people different. They are still people how could they say what time they could be out in the streets. What time they could go shopping. Where they should go shopping, and what time the lights needed to be out. After 8 o'clock was when all the people had to be in there houses they couldn't even be in there own yards sitting. Something that Anne Frank said was really true it was " Paper is more patient then man" because, the way she wrote her diary was like she was all by herself and no one was there for her to talk to. The way she wrote the entry's seemed like she didn't want someone to read it. I thought it was very interesting to read.
